Enclosure: Secure-lidded paludarium; mostly land with a shallow freshwater section
Heating: ambient 22–24 °C

Humidity: 75–85% with good airflow; keep the land section damp with some drier pockets

UVB: Low output

Diet: Leaf litter/veg plus insect and shrimp-style proteins in rotation

Water: Dechlorinated freshwater pool with easy access in/out; keep clean with filtration or regular partial changes

ABOUT THIS SPECIES

The Red Arm vampire crab is a vivid, land-leaning Geosesarma known for warm red/orange on the claws and forearms against a darker body. Although they’ll use water to drink and dip, they spend most of their time on the forest-floor layer, moving through leaf litter, climbing hardscape, and vanishing into tight hides when the enclosure feels too open. 

In a well-planted paludarium you’ll usually see the most activity at dusk and overnight, with steady foraging rather than constant swimming.

Give them plenty of cover and textured surfaces to climb, and keep the water section shallow with easy entry/exit; that combination tends to suit their natural habits best.
