The Lavender vampire crab is a trade-labelled colour look sold under Geosesarma dennerle, prized for softer lilac/purple tones that stand out beautifully against moss, leaf litter and dark hardscape. Like other Geosesarma, it’s strongly land-leaning: most time is spent moving through the “forest floor” layer, climbing textured décor, and retreating into tight cover when the enclosure feels open.

Expect the busiest periods from late afternoon into the evening, with steady foraging rather than long spells in the water. Although they need freshwater available, they generally use it for drinking and dipping, so land area, humidity, and lots of hides usually matter more than water depth.
